Moderation, filtering and Shield are three different things
Most platforms blur these together. We keep them separate on purpose.
Platform moderation
The rules PlusSocial applies to everyone. Reports are reviewed by a person, and anything against the rules is removed from the whole platform. You can't switch this off — and you don't need to.
Personal filtering
Your private preferences: topics, categories, muted words and how strict you want to be. It changes only what you see. Nothing is deleted, nobody else's feed changes, and “View anyway” is always there.
Plus Social Shield
The screen where you set all of that, in one place, in plain language. Shield is the control panel for your personal filtering — not a moderator, and not a censor.
Plus AI works for you, not on you
Plus AI has one job: helping you find and shape things. It never decides who belongs here.
